Terms & Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of 888poker’s ‘Play more, Win More’ promotion (the "Promotion"). The Promotion shall be organized by Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited (the "Promoter") who is the owner and operator, inter alia, of the brand 888poker. Your participation in the Promotion shall be deemed to constitute your complete acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below.
GENERAL:
  1.  By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the Prize, as such term is defined below, along with our standard '888 Group Operated Sites and Services End-User License Agreement' (the 'EULA') and 'Privacy Policy'. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and the provisions contained in the EULA, the terms and conditions of the Promotion shall prevail.
  2. Entry to the Promotion is available only to persons over the age of 18. You may be asked at any stage to provide the Promoter with a proof of age and/or identity.
  3. Employees and relatives of employees of the Promoter and any entities affiliated or related to the Promoter shall not be eligible to enter the Promotion. For the purposes herein, the term "relative" shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
  4. Only one person per household or per computer terminal shall be allowed to enter the Promotion and win the Prize.
  5. Entrants are allowed to make multiple entries for the Promotion and win more than one Prize.
  6. The Promotion shall be open ONLY to players who have either made a deposit with the Promoter or have received money into their account from a third party via the Promoter's money transfer feature.
  7. The Promotion shall commence on 04/01/2011 and shall conclude on 28/02/2011 (the "Promotion Period"). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Promoter may decide in its absolute discretion to conclude the Promotion immediately at any time. The Promoter also reserves the right to prolong the Promotion Period at its sole discretion.
  8. The prizes herein shall include cash & tournament entries (collectively "the Prize").
  9. The Promoter's decision is final on all matters relating to the awarding of the Prize and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or any third party.
  10. We reserve the right to exclude specific members from participation in the Promotion at our sole discretion.
  11. Your participation in the Promotion will be deemed to be your agreement for the Promoter to use your name, likeness and image for promotional purposes without the requirement for any payment and you hereby grant the Promoter the right to do so should you win the Prize.
  12. By entering the Promotion each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Promoter, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever arising out of the Promotion or the awarding of the Prize.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend, modify and update these terms and conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right (at any time) to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion without prior notice if, in the sole judgment of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified.
  15. These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
  16. All 888poker fraud and collusion rules apply. Any fraudulent activity detected in this Promotion will result in the Promoter removing any and all winning Prizes from the guilty parties.
  17. These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gibraltar and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Gibraltar courts.

     
GET $8 FREE:
The following are the terms and conditions of the "$8/ £5 Free Promotion" (the "Promotion"). The Promotion shall be organized by Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited (the "Promoter") who is the owner and operator, inter alia, of the brand 888poker.
 
  1. Each entrant shall only be entitled to make one entrance to the Promotion and may receive only one Bonus, as such term is defined below. Moreover, only one person per household or per computer terminal shall be allowed to enter the Promotion. In the event that the Promoter deems in its absolute discretion that an entrant has violated these terms and conditions in any way, including without limitation by multiple registrations for the Promotion, or has executed any other act in bad faith in relation to the Promotion, such entrant shall be excluded from the Promotion and therefore become ineligible to win the Bonus.
  2. The Promotion shall commence on January 4th, 2011 and shall end on February 28th, 2011 (the “Promotion Period”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Promoter may decide in its absolute discretion to conclude the Promotion immediately at any time.
  3. In order to enter the Promotion and receive the Bonus, an entrant must download the Promoter's poker client and open a new user account with the Promoter at www.888poker.com via any of the Promoter's main websites and landing pages. The entrant will then receive an e-mail from the Promoter asking him/her to verify his/ her e-mail address by clicking on a link within the e-mail body as a prerequisite for the Bonus to appear in the entrant's bankroll.
  4. Upon registration with the Promoter during the Promotion Period, and verification of their e-mail address, entrants shall be entitled to an extra free $8 bonus (the "Bonus") in addition to the standard registration bonus which the Promoter regularly provides to its new members.UK members will be entitled to an $8 / £5 bonus (based on their registration country & IP address).
  5. The Bonus money can be cashed out only after an amount totaling forty (40) times the Bonus amount has been wagered by an entrant. The Bonus cannot be transferred to another poker player account before making a deposit (money transfer limits will be set at a minimum of $15 for the Promotion Period).
  6. The Bonus shall only be available for 30 days and entrants who have not claimed their Bonus within the foregoing time limit shall not be able to receive the expired Bonus thereafter. 
  7. Only Persons located in following countries are eligible to enter the Promotion / win the Bonus: United Kingdom, Russia, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, South Africa, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Lebanon & Finland. The Promoter will not in any event pay the Bonus to any person who participates in the Promotion from outside the foregoing territories, even if he or she enters the Promotion in spite of this provision. In addition, the Promoter reserves the right to amend the list of countries from which it will enable entries to the Promotion from time to time in its sole discretion.
  8. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to awarding of the Bonus and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or by any third party.
  9. By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the Bonus, along with the "888 Group Operated Sites and Services End-User License Agreement" (the "EULA") and the Promoter's standard "Bonus Policy" which apply to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and the provisions contained in the EULA or the Bonus Policy, the terms and conditions of the Promotion shall prevail. 
  10. These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gibraltar and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Gibraltar courts.
  11. 888poker members in Spain and Russia are only eligible for the $8 FREE bonus via the download version.
TURN 8¢ into $50,000
(The ‘BIG 8c’ tournament):
  1. Entrants can only win one seat in the $50K Challenge tournaments on a specific date and this offer cannot be combined with any other promotion that gives a seat to these tournaments.
  2. Each of the ‘BIG 8c’ tournaments has a prize pool of $1,000 guaranteed. Only the players in the top 10 places will get free entry in the $50K Challenge.

     
Sit & Go Go Go:
  1. All entrants who play in 10 'Sit & Go' tournaments between Friday (00:00 GMT) and the following Thursday (23:59 GMT) during the Promotion Period (4th Jan – 28th Feb) will be eligible for one seat in the next $4,000 'Play More’ Freeroll.
  2. Only 'Sit and Go' tournaments with a buy-in of $1 or more will be eligible for this offer.
  3. Only 'Sit & Go' tournaments of 6 seats or more are eligible for this offer.
  4. Winners who win seats to the $4,000 'Play More’ Freerolls can only win 1 seat to each of the weekly $4,000 'Play More’ Freerolls.
  5. Registration for the $4,000 ‘Play More’ Freeroll starts on Friday at 18:00.
  6. Players who win the ‘Sit & Go’ promotion will receive an invitation to the $4,000 ‘Play More’ Freeroll by email on Friday. 
 
PLAY more, WIN more
(Play More tournament):
  1. Entrants who play 2 days or more in a week earning at least 5 Status Points per day will win a seat in the following Saturday’s $500 ‘Play More’ Freeroll.
  2. Entrants who play 4 days or more in a week earning at least 5 Status Points per day win a seat in the following $4,000 and $500 ‘Play More’ Freerolls.
  3. Entrants who play 6 days or more in a week earning at least 5 Status Points per day win a seat in the following $10,000, $4,000 and $500 ‘Play More’ Freerolls.
  4. The week is calculated from Wednesday 00:01 GMT to the following Tuesday 23:59 GMT.
  5. The $500 and $4,000 ‘Play More’ Freerolls take place every Sat from 15th Jan – 5th March 2011 @19:00 & 20:00 GMT respectively.
  6. The $10,000 ‘Play More’ Freerolls take place on Sat 22nd Jan, 5th & 19th Feb, 5th Mar @ 21:00 GMT.
  7. One Status Point is equal to a $0.50 rake or fee.
  8. Entrants who win seats in the $10,000, $4,000 and $500 ‘Play More’ Freerolls can only win 1 seat per tourney per player per day.
