Terms & Conditions - £12/$8 Bonus Package

The following are the terms and conditions of the "£12/ $8 Free Promotion" (the "Promotion"). The Promotion shall be organized by Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited (the "Promoter") who is the owner and operator, inter alia, of the brand 888poker.

  1. The Promotion shall commence on 1/1/2013 and shall conclude on 30/5/2013 (the “Promotion Period”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Promoter may decide in its absolute discretion to conclude the Promotion immediately at any time.
  2. The Promotion is a new sign-up offer and completely replaces any similar sign-up offer. All terms and conditions hereafter refer to the new "£12/$8 Free Promotion" and do not apply to any previous or similar promotion.
  3. Entry to the Promotion is available only to persons over the age of 18. Potential members may be asked at any stage to provide the Promoter with a proof of age and/or identity.
  4. Employees and relatives of employees of the Promoter and any entities affiliated or related to the Promoter shall not be eligible to enter the Promotion. For the purposes herein, the term "relative" shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
  5. Each entrant shall only be entitled to make one entrance to the Promotion and may receive only one £12/$8 Bonus Package, as such term is detailed below. Moreover, only one person per household or per computer terminal shall be allowed to enter the Promotion. In the event that the Promoter deems in its absolute discretion that an entrant has violated these terms and conditions in any way, including without limitation by multiple registrations for the Promotion, or has executed any other act in bad faith in relation to the Promotion, such entrant shall be excluded from the Promotion and therefore become ineligible to win the £12/$8 Bonus Package.
  6. Upon registration with the Promoter during the Promotion Period, and verification of their e-mail address, entrants shall be entitled to the £12/$8 Bonus Package. UK members will be offered in the Promotion an equivalent £12 Bonus Package (based on their registration country & IP address) yet shall receive nevertheless a Bonus Package equal to $20 regardless of the currency exchange rate at such time. All tournament tickets are distributed in US dollars only (all figures in UK pounds are as a guide only and are not subject to changes and fluctuations in the currency exchange rate). The Bonus Package shall be distributed as follows:

    (i) UK Members (Regular + Android + iPhone)

    New eligible members (those who create a new account during the Promotion Period) from the UK (using PC, Android, iPhone, Mac or ‘Instant Play’ No-Download browser version) will receive the ‘£12 Free’ Bonus Package ($20 value) upon verification of the member’s email address by clicking a link within the body of an email. This includes $2 in real money credited to the player’s 888poker account and $18 worth of tournament tickets (outlined below) for use in the 888poker room:

    • 2 tickets for $1 buy-in tournaments
    • 3 tickets for $3 buy-in tournaments
    • 1 ticket for $7 buy-in tournament

    (ii) UK Members (iPad)

    New eligible members (those who create a new account during the Promotion Period) from the UK using the mobile application (such as iPad) will receive the ‘£5 Free’ Bonus which includes $8 in real money that can be used on all versions of 888poker upon verification of the member’s email address by clicking a link within the body of an email. In addition, they will also receive another £7 ($12 worth) of tournament tickets (outlined below) for use in the 888poker room:

    • 3 x $1 buy-in tournaments
    • 3 x $3 buy-in tournaments

    However, the additional £7 ($12 worth) of tournament tickets is only available on the full PC or Mac version of the 888poker software.

    (iii) Other Members (Regular + Android + iPhone)

    New members from eligible countries outside of the UK (those who create a new account during the Promotion Period) will receive the ‘$8 Free’ Bonus Package upon verification of the member’s email address by clicking a link within the body of an email. This includes $2 in real money credited to the player’s 888poker account and $6 worth of tournament tickets (outlined below) for use in the 888poker room:

    • 6 tickets for $1 buy-in tournaments

    (iv) Other Members (iPad)

    New members from eligible countries outside of the UK (those who create a new account during the Promotion Period) using the mobile application (such as iPad) will receive $8 in real money credited to the player’s 888poker account upon verification of the member’s email address by clicking a link within the body of an email.

  7. Only Persons located in following countries are eligible to enter the Promotion / win the Bonus: United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, South Africa, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Lebanon, Japan, Kuwait, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Malta, Finland, Brazil, Russia, Slovenia, Singapore and India. The Promoter will not in any event pay the Bonus to any person who participates in the Promotion from outside the foregoing territories, even if he or she enters the Promotion in spite of this provision. In addition, the Promoter reserves the right to amend the list of countries from which it will enable entries to the Promotion from time to time in its sole discretion.
  8. The registration bonus is not available for persons that registered via iPad in the following countries: Austria, Brazil, Russia, Hungary and India.
  9. This promotion is only valid for players who do not already have an existing or previous 888poker account.
  10. If members cannot see their tournament tickets, they will need to re-download the latest 888poker software (version 6.9). For further information on Tournament Tickets, click here. Members using the ‘Instant Play’ (‘No-Download’) browser version must be using the English version to be eligible for the Promotion.
  11. In order to enter the Promotion and receive the £12/$8 Bonus Package, an entrant must download the Promoter's poker client, mobile application or click ‘Instant Play’ (‘No-Download’ version) and open a new user account with the Promoter at www.888poker.com or via any of the Promoter's main websites and landing pages. The entrant will then receive an e-mail to the e-mail address entered in the registration form from the Promoter asking him/her to verify his/ her e-mail address by clicking on a link within the e-mail body as a prerequisite for the £12/$8 Bonus Package to appear in the entrant's account.
  12. After registration, entrants have 14 days to claim their £12/$8 Bonus Package before it expires.
  13. After claiming, the Bonus package shall only be available for 14 days and entrants who have not used their Bonus within the foregoing time limit shall not be able to receive the expired Bonus thereafter.
  14. Any unused Cash Bonus or Tournament Tickets shall be removed from the entrant’s account by the Promoter after the expiration date.
  15. All immediate (non-pending) bonuses may be withdrawn only after a player has accumulated 2.5 Bonus Points for every $1 of the received Cash Bonus amount.
  16. Eligible members can only use the Bonus Package to play poker games and not casino or sports games.
  17. By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the Bonus, along with the "888 Group Operated Sites and Services End-User License Agreement" (the "EULA") and the Promoter's standard "Bonus Policy" which apply to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and the provisions contained in the EULA or the Bonus Policy, the terms and conditions of the Promotion shall prevail.
  18. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to awarding of the Bonus and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or by any third party.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and in its sole discretion.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion if, in the sole judgment of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified.
  21. For all eligible new members (except those solely using the mobile application), all Tournament Tickets terms & conditions apply:
    1. Tournament Tickets (hereinafter: "TrTs") are tickets with fixed values that are valid for scheduled tournaments and for Sit & Go’s.
    2. TrTs will be valid only to selected tournaments with exact buy-in value, as per the sole discretion of the poker room.
    3. TrTs cannot be replaced with smaller face-value TrTs and cannot be used for smaller buy-ins than face value.
    4. The available tournament pool for tickets is subject to changes by the poker room in its absolute discretion, without prior notification.
    5. TrTs cannot be redeemed for cash.
    6. Multiple TrTs cannot be accumulated into bigger value tickets.
    7. TrTs cannot be transferred to another user.
    8. Each TrT has an expiration date that is set according to the poker room's sole discretion. Once a TrT has expired, the player will not be able to use it anymore and it will have a zero value.
    9. In the event a tournament is cancelled before it started, players that registered with TrTs will get the same TrT back with the same attributes (i.e. expiration date and values will not change). In case the tournament started, the players will be compensated as if they had used cash to register to the tournament.
    10. Eligible entrants can access their TrTs from the ‘My Tournament Tickets’ page (under ‘My Profile’ tab) or direct from the lobby (as stated below).
      1. Entrants can log into the poker lobby with their username and password, click ‘My Profile’ from the top menu and ‘My Tournament Tickets’ from the drop-down menu. On the ‘My Tournament Tickets’ page, entrants can scroll down to a specific tournament ticket and click the ‘Open Lobby’ button to register to the tournament as usual. If eligible, the entrant will not be charged for the buy-in.
      2. Alternatively, entrants can search for the specific tournament in the poker lobby and click on the tournament name and register in the usual way. Once the entrant has registered to the specific tournament, they will receive a pop-up offering them the option to register using their Tournament Ticket or cash. If eligible, the entrant will not be charged for the buy-in.
  22. These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
  23. These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Courts of Justice, London, England.
