Biggest Hand of the Event
The biggest hand of the day occurred right before the final table bubble. Christopher Kyriacou woke up with Aces and Rytis Taujanskas found himself in the unfortunate position of being all-in pre-flop with pocket Kings.
Even more unfortunately for Taujanskas, Kyriacou had him covered.
The flop was clean: 3♠2♣2♥ despite Chris’ fears.
Then came the turn - K♥ - and Taujanskas allowed himself to celebrate momentarily.
Only one of the two remaining Aces in the deck could save Kyriacou…
River: A♠ and then we were down to the final Nine.
Winners and Payouts
In addition to the prize money all nine players received a ticket to the 888Live London Festival Main Event.
The 9 finalists settled into play at around 10:30pm local time. However, it wasn’t until around 4am that a deal was made between the 3 remaining players announcing Christopher Kyriacou as the ultimate champ.
