Pick'em 8 is a strategic Poker based game with a fun twist, whereby you choose your two hole cards from the selection on offer. Fast and simple to get the hang of, it’s a great chance to beat the odds and multiply your bet in just a few minutes.
A list of available Pick’em game tables are displayed by clicking on the Pick’em tab or Pick’em area in the client. For each table, the buy-in amount is stated, along with the current prize pool and the time remaining until the start of the next round. The prize pool is displayed with real-time updates and is determined by the amount of registered players. So, as more people join the table, the bigger the prize pool will be.
To register to a game, simply click on the relevant table, and press the ‘Join’ button. Players will then get a pop up requiring them to confirm their registration and the required buy-in and fee. Registration at all tables remains open to players until the scheduled round opening time. Once the new round begins, the option to register will be frozen for five seconds until the next new round will be displayed and available for registration.
After the player has joined a specific table he, along with all the other players, will be presented with a selection of eight cards. Please note, a minimum of three players is required for a round to start. The player is required to choose two cards out of the eight. Once the cards have been chosen the player can lock his selection by clicking on the “PICK’EM” button. From there on, the card selection cannot be changed.
If the player has selected two cards but not yet locked them by clicking on the “PICK’EM” button by the time the game starts, the system will automatically use those two cards when the game begins. If the player has only picked one card by the time the game starts, the system will lock the selected card and add the card from the top left of the selection for the player. If the player already selected the top left card, the system will add the bottom left card.
If the player hasn’t selected any cards by the time that the game starts then they will automatically be allocated the two cards from the left side of the selection of eight. Count down to the game start time is shown on the counter on the left of the screen.
Once the round starts five community cards are revealed. These cards are combined with the two selected cards to complete a standard Texas Hold’em Poker hand. Hand strengths are determined by Texas Hold’em Poker rules (see the Hand Ranking Chart section of this site). After the community cards are revealed, all the other players’ chosen hands are also shown. The prize pool is divided between all the holders of the strongest hand. Players with a winning hand are alerted almost immediately after the community cards are dealt.
When the round is over, players are given the choice between playing another round or returning to the casino lobby. For assistance with this, or any of your other online gaming needs, please click here to contact us.
