What is SNAP Poker?
SNAP Poker is the fast-fold poker format from 888poker, built to reduce waiting time by dealing you a new hand the moment you fold. You instantly move to a new table with new opponents, keeping the action fast. SNAP is available in both Cash Games and Tournament formats, and can also be played on Mobile.
Here’s how it works
When playing SNAP Poker, you are placed in a shared ‘Players Pool’ and re-seated at a new table every time you fold. You can even ‘SNAP Fold’ before the action reaches you, letting you jump to a new hand within seconds. Other players at your table will only see your fold when the action reaches your seat.
Fold, watch and play
You can fold normally or use ‘SNAP Fold’ and still choose to watch the hand play out. Simply click the “Fold watch and play” button or hold the Shift key while clicking ‘fold’ or ‘SNAP fold’.
When selecting “Fold watch and play,” a new observer screen opens so you can follow the remainder of the hand. Meanwhile, your main screen will instantly move you to a new table so you can keep playing without delay.
Please note: You can observe only one hand at a time, and this feature is available for SNAP ring games only.
How to join SNAP games
You'll find the SNAP tab on the right side of the screen when entering the 888poker Main Lobby.
Click it or drag it left to enter the SNAP Main Lobby. Under the SNAP tab, you'll see two sub-tabs offering ‘Cash’ and ‘Tournament’ play options.
To buy-in to a SNAP Cash Game, click ‘Cash Games’, select a pool, highlight it, and click the ‘Join Game’ button.
To play a tournament, click ‘SNAP Tournaments’ to see all available events. Choose one, buy-in, and start playing.
You can also find SNAP Tournaments under the ‘All games’ tab in the 888poker Main Lobby.
