Significant Conditions
18+. Complete the action announced during the relevant stream to enter. Maximum one entry per participant per contest, regardless of the number of accounts or profiles the participant owns or operates. An active and eligible 888 account is required to receive and use a prize. Excluded countries are listed below. No purchase or deposit is necessary. The prize, number of winners, entry period and winner-selection method will be announced for each activity. Winners will be contacted through the relevant streaming or social media platform and will have 72 hours to claim. Tournament tickets must be used within 30 days after they are credited, unless the specific activity expressly states otherwise. Promoter: the 888 contracting company identified in the User Agreement applicable to the winner's 888 account.
1 Scope and Acceptance
1.1 These terms and conditions (the "Promotion Terms") apply to streaming giveaway contests, promotions and activities made available by 888 on Twitch and YouTube, including on channels operated by 888, its ambassadors, influencers or affiliates (each a "Promotion").
1.2 By participating in a Promotion, you agree to be bound by: (i) these Promotion Terms; (ii) the instructions and specific conditions announced for that Promotion; (iii) the applicable User Agreement governing your 888 account; and (iv) the processing of your personal data as described in these Promotion Terms and the 888 Privacy Policy.
1.3 If there is a conflict between these Promotion Terms and the specific conditions announced for a Promotion, the specific conditions will apply only to the extent of that conflict, provided that they comply with applicable law and regulation.
2 Eligibility
2.1 A participant must satisfy all of the following requirements (an "Eligible Participant"):
• be aged 18 or over, or the legal age for gambling in the territory in which the participant is located, whichever is greater;
• have an active and eligible 888 account;
• be resident and located in a territory where 888 accepts customers and where the Promotion is legally available;
• not be resident in Romania, Northern Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Ontario, Italy, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus or Kazakhstan; and
• meet all regulatory requirements, including age verification, safer-gambling requirements and self-exclusion status.
2.2 Customers who have self-excluded, taken a break, had their account closed, or are otherwise excluded from gambling or promotions with 888 are not eligible to participate or receive a prize. No reimbursement or other compensation will be provided for a forfeited prize.
2.3 It is free to enter a Promotion. No purchase or deposit with 888 is necessary.
3 Entry and Promotion Mechanics
3.1 During the relevant Twitch or YouTube stream, 888 will announce the action required to enter, the entry period, the prize or prizes, the number of winners and the winner-selection process. The announcement may also be made in the stream description, chat, a related post or another clearly identified location.
3.2 To enter, an Eligible Participant must complete the announced action during the stated entry period and comply with any platform-specific requirements, such as following the relevant channel or providing a correct answer.
3.3 Entry is limited to one entry per Eligible Participant per Promotion, regardless of the number of streaming, social media or 888 accounts or profiles the participant owns or operates. Duplicate or multiple entries may be voided, and prizes are limited to one prize per winner per Promotion.
3.4 All dates and times announced for a Promotion are in GMT unless expressly stated otherwise.
4 Winner Selection and Prize Claim
4.1 Winners will be selected using the method announced for the relevant Promotion. If the Promotion uses a random draw, the draw will be conducted from all valid eligible entries using a fair random-selection process approved by the Promoter. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid eligible entries received.
4.2 888 may review entries and accounts before confirming a winner. If fraud, abusive conduct, duplicate entry, ineligibility or another breach of these Promotion Terms is identified, the entry may be disqualified and another Eligible Participant may be selected.
4.3 Winners will be contacted through the relevant Twitch, YouTube or related social media account. A winner may be asked to provide an 888 username or Support ID, full name and any information reasonably required to verify identity and eligibility.
4.4 A winner must respond and provide the required information within 72 hours of the notification. If the winner does not respond in time, cannot be verified, or is unable or unavailable to claim the prize, the prize will be forfeited and 888 may select another valid Eligible Participant.
4.5 After the winner has claimed the prize and 888 has successfully verified the winner's identity and eligibility, the prize will be credited to the winner's 888 account within 72 hours, unless a different fulfilment period is expressly stated for a non-account prize.
4.6 888 reserves the right to publish a winner's username, platform handle and county or territory, where applicable, on its channels unless the winner gives prior notice that they object. Notwithstanding any objection, 888 may provide winner information to a regulator, the Advertising Standards Authority or another public authority where required by law.
5 Prizes and Tournament Tickets
5.1 Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part. If a prize becomes unavailable, 888 may substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
5.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, 888 is not responsible for travel, taxes or any other costs or expenses connected with a prize. Each winner is responsible for reporting and paying any applicable tax or levy.
5.3 A tournament ticket awarded as a prize (a "Prize Ticket") is valid for 30 days from the date it is credited to the winner's 888 account. Any unused Prize Ticket expires automatically after 30 days and will not be replaced, refunded or extended.
5.4 Each Prize Ticket is issued for a specific monetary value and may be used only to register for an eligible tournament with a buy-in equal to that value. It cannot be used to rebuy or add chips during a tournament.
5.5 A Prize Ticket cannot be split, exchanged, transferred or combined with another ticket, bonus or cash balance to enter a tournament of a different value. It has no cash value and is non-withdrawable.
5.6 Where a Prize Ticket is connected with a particular campaign, 888 may recommend its use for a particular tournament. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it may be used for any eligible tournament of the same value available during its validity period.
5.7 A winner must comply with any additional terms applicable to a prize. 888 may withhold or cancel a prize if it reasonably suspects that the winner has not complied, or will not comply, with those additional terms.
6 Participant Conduct and Promotion Integrity
6.1 Entries or comments may be rejected if they are abusive, defamatory, slanderous, bullying, insulting, offensive, profane, threatening, damaging, discriminatory, obscene, harassing, violent, unlawful, hateful, false, misleading, politically sensitive or controversial, or if they otherwise breach the relevant platform's content rules.
6.2 Participants must act fairly. Prohibited conduct includes collusion, entering a Promotion not available in the participant's country, using multiple accounts or identities, sharing or using a personalised offer not intended for the participant, and exploiting broken mechanics, errors or loopholes.
6.3 Eligibility is limited to one participant per household. 888 may determine identity using a combination of information including name, address, email address, IP address, payment card number, device and any other identification reasonably required.
6.4 Fraud, collusion, manipulation or abuse may result in disqualification, forfeiture or cancellation of prizes, exclusion from current or future promotions, and suspension or closure of the relevant 888 account. 888 will decide in its reasonable discretion what amounts to manipulation or abuse.
6.5 888 does not endorse or accept responsibility for private deals made between participants in connection with any tournament.
7 Twitch and YouTube
7.1 Promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Twitch or YouTube unless expressly stated otherwise. By entering, participants release the relevant platform from responsibility or liability relating to the Promotion.
7.2 Participants must have an internet connection and an active account on the relevant platform where required to enter, receive a notification or claim a prize.
8 Responsible Gambling
8.1 888 is committed to responsible gambling. Participation is restricted to people aged 18 or over, or the higher legal gambling age that applies locally. Customers who have self-excluded or are otherwise excluded from gambling with 888 are not eligible.
8.2 Information and tools supporting responsible gambling are available on the Site.
9 Personal Data
9.1 888, as Promoter and data controller, will collect and use personal data only as reasonably necessary to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, contact winners and fulfil prizes. A participant who does not agree to this use of information cannot participate.
9.2 Where necessary to fulfil a prize, a winner's personal data may be provided to a third-party supplier involved in prize delivery. No third party will handle winner data on behalf of 888 for unrelated purposes.
9.3 Personal data will be kept for as long as necessary to administer the Promotion, fulfil prizes, handle related queries, complaints or regulatory requests, and comply with legal and record-keeping obligations. It will then be deleted or anonymised in accordance with the 888 Privacy Policy.
9.4 By entering, participants agree to 888's applicable terms and conditions, cookies policy and privacy policy, which are available on the Site.
10 Changes Liability and Decisions
10.1 888 may change, suspend or cancel a Promotion or these Promotion Terms where required by law or regulation, for security reasons, to prevent fraud or abuse, because of a technical or administrative error, or because exceptional circumstances prevent the Promotion from being conducted as described.
10.2 Where a change or cancellation is made for another valid reason, 888 will provide advance notice where reasonably practicable. Except where necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct, a change will not unfairly remove a benefit already earned through completed qualifying participation.
10.3 888 is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, data, delivery or network failures or delays that affect entry, participation, notification or prize fulfilment, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
10.4 888's decision on eligibility, winner selection and any dispute concerning a Promotion is final, subject to applicable law.
11 Promoter Governing Terms and Law
11.1 The Promotion is organised by the 888 contracting company identified in the User Agreement governing the participant's 888 account (the "Promoter and Data Controller"). The participant's registered 888 account determines the applicable Promoter, governing law and courts.
11.2 For participants located in the United Kingdom, the Promoter is 888 UK Limited, a company incorporated and registered in Gibraltar under company number 111791, with its registered office at 57/63 Line Wall Road, Gibraltar. These Promotion Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.3 For participants located in Germany, the Promoter is 888 Germany Ltd. (trading as 888), a company incorporated and registered in Malta under company number C 91017, with its registered office at Level 8, Tagliaferro Business Centre, 14 High Street, Sliema SLM 1549, Malta. These Promotion Terms are governed by German law.
11.4 For participants located in the European Single Market, except states where services are provided under a local licence, the Promoter is Virtual Digital Services Limited (trading as 888), a company incorporated and registered in Malta under company number C 90997, with its registered office at Level 8, Tagliaferro Business Centre, 14 High Street, Sliema SLM 1549, Malta. These Promotion Terms are governed by Maltese law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
11.5 For participants located outside the European Single Market, except states where services are provided under a local licence, the Promoter is Virtual Global Digital Services Limited (trading as 888), a company incorporated and registered in Gibraltar under company number 114612, with its registered office at Suite 601/701 Europort, Europort Road, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. These Promotion Terms are governed by Gibraltar law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gibraltar.
11.6 The Site's applicable User Agreement, Bonus Policy, House Rules, withdrawal terms, Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy form part of the terms governing participation. If these Promotion Terms conflict with the applicable User Agreement, the User Agreement prevails to the extent of the conflict.
11.7 These Promotion Terms are drafted in English. If a translated version differs from the English version, the English version prevails.
