Bruno Foster Politano Biography
888poker is no stranger to backing WSOP Main Event November Niners and Bruno “Foster” Politano is no exception. He is Team 888poker's latest addition to its roster of ambassadors.
Bruno, who has been playing poker for 12 years, has had his fair share of success. In his home country of Brazil, interest in poker has literally exploded and Politano has been riding the wave like a lot of his fellow countrymen and women. Now with all the publicity that comes with making a WSOP Main Event final table; his popularity, both in Latin American and worldwide, is destined to sky rocket.
Tallying up the massive $730,725 he has already made for placing in the top nine of the 2014 Main Event, his live earnings total a whopping $840,779. Included in that number are two final table finishes in the 2012 and 2013 Brazilian Series of Poker tournaments. His online numbers are nothing to sneeze at either - $304,688 to date. This is one Brazilian poker player who has all the goods.
Latin America has produced several very good players in recent years. However Politano, or simply “Foster” as he is called by his legions of fans, is the first to have ever made a WSOP Main Event final table.
“Foster” joins fellow Team Ambassadors, Bruno Kawauti and Nicolau Villa-Lobos in representing the 888poker brand in Latin America.
