JC Tran Biography

Born Justin Cuong Van Tran, he abbreviated his name to JC Tran – or ‘Just Call’ Tran, whilst felting opponents in the local poker rooms. In his long and illustrious career, he has been incredibly successful at live tournaments, winning in excess of $11 million!

Tran has 2 WSOP gold bracelets, has made 9 WSOP final tables and finished in the money some 40 times in Las Vegas. In the World Poker Tour, he also has 2 titles to his credit and 9 final tables, with 14 ITM finishes. JC's biggest live cash was at the World Series of Poker 2013 where he placed 5th for $2,177,010 in prize money. Most recently, JC took down the WPT Rolling Thunder event, held in his home town of Sacramento, California. He beat 464 other runners to grab his second WPT crown and the prize money of $302,750.

JC is a true champion. He always gives his all and believes in never underestimating the competition. He is great addition to the Team 888poker family and and a wonderful ambassador for poker.
