888poker LIVE Barcelona is a two-week festival, that will offer over €850,000 ($1,000,000) in guarantees and run from May 24 through June 4 at the Casino Barcelona. Among those confirmed to attend, include 888poker Ambassadors Martin Jacobson, Sofia Lövgren, Natalie Hof, Vivian Saliba, and Chris Moorman.
Topping it all off, the festival will feature final table live streams commentated by David Tuchman and Nick Wealthall.
What’s on the Schedule
The festival kicks off on Thursday, May 24 with the 888poker LIVE Barcelona Opening Event, which features four starting flights and a €100K guarantee. The tournament costs €220 to enter and starts players with a generous 30,000 in chips and 30-minute levels. Two re-entries are allowed, and late registration will remain open through 11 levels.
Day 1A will take place at 18:00 on Thursday, May 24. The following day, the 1B flight will begin at the same time, but players will have a chance to qualify at a discount as a €50 Turbo Satellite will play out beforehand at 16:00. The satellite allows for unlimited re-entries (through Level 6), 15-minute levels, and starts players with 5,000 in chips.
Likewise, on Saturday, May 26, there will be a €50 Turbo Satellite at Noon for the 1C flight, which gets underway at 14:00. Then, at 18:00, the fourth and final flight (Day 1D) begins, but beware; it’s a turbo.
Instead of 30-minutes levels, the final flight will be reduced to 15-minute levels. However, the last day of the Opening Event, which will play out on Sunday, May 27 beginning at 13:00, will up the levels to 40 minutes to give players plenty of play.
One Drop Charity Event & High Roller
Another highlight on the schedule will take place at 20:00 on Wednesday, May 30 with the €111 One Drop Charity Event, and at the same time we’ll host a €2,200 High Roller, which features unlimited re-entries, a 100K starting stack, 45-minute levels, and a €100K GTD.
Players will play eight levels on Day 1, but late registration will remain open until the start of play on Day 2.
As an added bonus, whoever wins the High Roller will win a package this summer’s World Series of Poker Event #62: $888 Crazy Eights. That tournament offers four starting flights from June 30 through July 1.
The Main Event
The capstone event of the series is the €1,100 buy-in, €500K GTD 888poker LIVE Barcelona Festival Main Event, which will offer three starting flights.
Late registration and re-entries will remain open through 12 levels of play, which is Day 2 of the tournament. Players will begin with 30,000 in chips and play 45-minute levels. Day 1A will take place at 18:00 on Thursday, May 31, and then Day 1B will get underway at the same time on Friday, June 1. The third and final flight is scheduled for Saturday, June 2 at 15:00.
Those who survive the starting flights will return to action at 14:00 on Sunday, June 3 with the plan of playing down to the final table. At that point, levels shift to 60 minutes. The finalists will then come back at 14:00 on Monday, June 4 to play down to a winner.

Topping it all off, whoever wins the Main Event will receive an 888poker LIVE package to the next 888poker LIVE festival London in November.
The 888poker LIVE Barcelona Festival Ladies Event costs just €220 to enter, starts players with 20,000 in chips, and features 20-minute levels. Unlimited re-entries are available, and late registration remains open through eight levels.
