For the third year in a row, we are returning as an official sponsor of the World Series of Poker. As the only site offering WSOP satellites to players around the world, we thought it might be useful to review all the ways in which you can win your way to Las Vegas via 888poker.

Tonkaaaap’s WSOP Dream

Last week, we kicked off our Tonkaaaap’s WSOP Dream promotion, which is comprised of eight $12 buy-in tournaments culminating in a final free roll. The first six events, two of which have already been held, are password protected with Twitch star and 888poker Ambasador Parker “Tonkaaaap” Talbot revealing the respective passwords live on his show. Meanwhile, the final two events are not password protected and are open to all players.

Topping it all off, Talbot has a $30 bounty on his head in each $500 GTD event.

The final freeroll will be restricted to the eight winners and one Gleam.io giveaway winner. Whoever takes down that nine-handed final table will receive a 2017 WSOP prize package that includes five nights (July 9-14) at the luxurious Vdara Hotel Las Vegas, a $10,000 Main Event buy-in, $1,200 for travel and expenses, daily transportation, a VIP Welcome session, and an 888live poker kit.

The next password-protected event will be held June 1 (password: caesars) with subsequent events taking place June 4, June 8, and June 11. Remember to watch Talbot’s live stream to find out the passwords that’ll get you a seat. The two non-password-protected events will take place on June 15 and 18. The Tonkaaaap’s WSOP Dream final will then be held on June 24.

Tonkaaaap’s is the only streamer giving away a WSOP Main Event seat through his channel, so be sure to tune in!

$10 BLAST Sit & Go (WSOP Package)

Right now, those who play our $10 BLAST Sit & Go tournaments can win a $12,500 WSOP package. Just hit the 1,250-prize pool multiplied and you could be on your way to Sin City!

For those who don’t know, BLAST events are super-turbo Texas hold’em SnGs played four-handed. The prize pool of each BLAST Sit & Go is determined based on a draw that takes place at the beginning of each tournament and varies between two and 12,500 times the buy-in of the selected BLAST Sit & Go.

Once the tournament starts, the BLAST timer starts the countdown. When the BLAST timer runs out, all the remaining players are all-in until there’s a single winner. Each BLAST player receives a starting stack of 1,500 chips regardless of the drawn prize pool multiplier, though that same multiplier is what determines he blind level structure of each BLAST Sit & Go.

Remember, only the BLAST SnGs at the $10 buy-in level are eligible for WSOP packages.

Spin Your Way to Vegas

On June 1, our popular “Spin Your Way to Vegas” promotion, which began in early May, will come to an end. During that time, we’ll have given away 50 exclusive packages to either the WSOP Main Event or 888poker’s official Crazy Eights Bracelet Event.

So how does a “Vegas Spin” work? Every day a message pops up in the 888poker lobby with a daily challenge. Those who complete the challenge instantly receive a spin in our Vegas Roller via email or a pop up in the lobby. Every spin wins a prize, with the top reward being a $12,500 prize package to Las Vegas.

Five players will win their way into the WSOP Main Event via that route, while 45 players will win $3,000 WSOP “Crazy Eights” packages. Those packages include an $888 buy-in, flights to Las Vegas, and three nights at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Qualifiers for as Little as 1₵

Thanks to our popular step satellites, it’s possible to win your way into the WSOP Main Event for as little as 1₵. Just ask 58-year-old Greek bar owner Tommy Yates, who in 2015 qualified for a single penny.

Yates navigated six steps to win a $12,500 package, even turning down a $6,000 cash offer on the bubble of the final step.

Yates, who was ultimately eliminated by eventual winner Joe McKeehen, ended up finishing 486th out of 6,420 players for $19,500.

"When the public announcer told everyone that I had got there for one cent and told me to stand up, I was gob smacked to see almost all the room standing and applauding me, even noted players,” Yates said of the experience. “I felt like I had finally made it as a poker player."

1₵ qualifiers are running today, so don’t miss your chance to follow in Yates’ footsteps.

Champion of Champions XL Inferno

While some players are still trying to win their way to Las Vegas, others have already punched their ticket. That includes Argentina’s Cristian “progree69” Sampaoli, who at the end of May topped a field of 110 entries to win the 2017 XL Inferno Champion of Champions for a seat into the 2017 WSOP.

Sampaoli qualified for the Champion of Champions after topping a field of 543 players to win the XL Inferno Event #178 $30.000 Saturday Challenge for $5,720.

In addition, Sweden’s Anton “anteen” Bertilsson, who took down Event #36 $50,000 High Roller for $116,974, won a WSOP side event package into Event #60 $888 Crazy Eights for finishing in third place in the Champion of Champions. Likewise, runner-up “zinkAA,” who hails from Ukraine and won Event #91 $30,000 Sunday Lightning, received a buy-in to the same tournament plus a $1,050 Main Event qualifier seat.

SHRB Backstage Pass

In late April, we launched a social media competition offering VIP backstage passes to the $300,000 buy-in 2017 Super High Roller Bowl at ARIA Hotel & Resort. The winner of the competition, which was held across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, received two backstage passes, accommodation, travel, and a VIP dinner.

All of that ended up going to Manchester’s Asif Warris, AKA the “PokerTourist,” who took down the competition with a memorable Elvis impersonation and song. He will now enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience where he’ll not only rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the game, but also have front row seats to one of the year’s most prestigious events.

In addition, the competition’s top 10 video entrants each received an 888poker patched-up Noëtics hoodie signed by none other than Fedor Holz.

Don’t Forget About the “Supersize ME” Promotion

Remember, anyone who qualifies for the 2017 WSOP Main Event via 888poker will have the opportunity to compete for a $10,000,000 first-place prize. That’s because if any of our qualifiers happen to win the WSOP Main Event, we’ll make up any difference between the first-place prize and $10 million to ensure they receive an eight-figure payday!
