At 888poker we want the best for our customers, and that’s why the XL Inferno tournament series is back this May with some epic prize pools up for grabs!

This poker series is tailored to fit every bankroll and, with that said, we are going to help you to maximise it by playing selected tournaments from the schedule.

So, whether you are rolling with the “big dogs” or have a Chihuahua on your lap, you’ll be able to make the most of the XL Inferno tournaments.

We’ll be making selections based on the following bankroll:

Semi-Pro: $120
Pro: $550
High Roller: $7,000 or $3,150 (Mini High Roller)

Keep in mind these are the amounts we set aside for the series. This money should be a percentage of our overall bankroll. Using our entire bankroll to play the series is not smart bankroll management!

Before we get into our recommendations, let’s start with some basic strategy overview.

Maximising with XL Inferno Promotions

The XL Inferno is not just a selection of tournaments. Several side promotions will be running alongside the series. The way we maximise our long-term profits is by choosing events that give us the biggest shot at taking down one of the side prize pools.

Let’s take a quick look at the side promotions –

Win 2 tournaments – get $1000
Win 3 tournaments – get $1000
Win 4 tournaments – get $100,000
Win 5 tournaments – get $1,000,000

Reach final table at 3 or more events and get a $600 tournament ticket

Be ‘in the money’ in 8 or more events and get a $215 tournament ticket.

Winners of events receive a “Champion of Champions” tournament ticket where they can compete for a $12,600 WSOP package and other goodies.

The promotions are geared toward winning, final-tabling, or cashing in as many events as possible, regardless of the buy-in for that event. Therefore, it makes sense to shoot for as many tournaments as our bankroll will allow - rather than simply playing a few of the biggest ones.

Finally, take advantage of qualifiers and save your bankroll! Deposit $10 or more with promo code: INFERNO10 and get 3 tickets to 888poker’s daily XL Inferno Qualifiers, running up until 08/05/2018.
