The 2018 XL Eclipse, which is slated to award more than $2.8 million in guaranteed prize pools, continued Friday with two more tournaments. That means five events from the 34-event schedule are now in the books.

Remember, anyone who wins two XL Eclipse events will receive a $1,000 bonus. If someone can take down three there’s $10,000 waiting for them, while anyone lucky enough to capture four XL Eclipse titles will earn $100,000.

Additionally, a $1,000,000 bonus awaits any player who is able to capture five XL Eclipse titles! But that’s not all! Reach the final table in three or more events and you’ll get a $600 tournament ticket, and if you make the money in eight or more events you’ll get a $215 tournament ticket.

Here's a look at all what’s happened earlier in the 2018 XL Eclipse:

Day 1: UK’s Richard “ChipsFool” Hoadley topped 1,002-entry field to win Opening Event for nearly $19K. Both “seserman02” and “KelevraJesus” claim titles.

Meanwhile, here’s what happened on Day 2:

Alexandru “alexos888” Baron Takes Down Twins Royal for Canada

The $55 buy-in Event #4: $20,000 Twins Royal drew 401 players to the virtual felt and they rebought 158 times. That meant a $27,950 prize pool was up for grabs, and the top 54 got a piece of it including “chipchipnuts” (39th - $154), “summuNNN” (31st - $168), “ZeroNineee” (18th - $252), “MasterMind__” (8th - $629), “SergyRusko” (4th - $2,236), and “Trapstar777” (3rd - $2,935).

After 9 hours and 34 minutes, Canada’s Alexandru “alexos888” Baron defeated Sweden’s “Nidjos” in heads-up play to win $5,364. The win made Baron a two-time XL champ after he took down last year’s XL Inferno Event #90: $15,000 Turbo Crazy 8 for $3,179.

The latest win marked Baron’s first victory on 888poker since the March 6 $3,000 Mini Late GREAT 8, which he won for $1,050.

The $55 buy-in Event #5: $20,000 Twins Flush attracted 381 players who rebought 150 times. After Sweden’s “LuckyNr11swe” bowed out in third place for $2,788, the title came down to the UK’s “ego_death” and Malta’s “okokok1893.” After 8 hours and 14 minutes, the latter prevailed to capture a $5,095 first-place prize.

It was the second year in a row that “ego_death” had to settle for second place in a XL event. In last year’s XL Inferno, he finished runner-up in Event #2: $45,000 Sunday Breeze for $7,643.

The title came down to the UK’s “ego_death” and Malta’s “okokok1893.”
