Xl of the $7,500,000 XL Inferno Championships played host to another 13 events, including two “ShowMe! tournaments. For those wondering what those are, they’re simply tournaments where players get to see the winning cards each and every hand.

Here’s the list for the first eight days of the XL Inferno:

Day 1 - 16 tournaments finish and award $1,177,180.75 in prize money

Day 2 – 13 titles awarded; “V.BlomFan60” wins Event #20 Crocodile

Day 3 – Anton “anteen” Bertilsson captures second XL Inferno title

Day 6 -- Brazil’s “LeoJoseCarne” captures two of those titles in one day

Day 7 -- Alexandru “alexos888” Baron finds redemption

Day 8 -- Vietnam’s “B4NKR0LL3R” claims second title

Robin “Inho” Ylitalo Slays the Crocodile

Event #110 $20,000 Crocodile drew 199 players, which created a $29,850 prize pool, and in the end, it came down to two familiar face. The first was Sweden’s Robin “Inho” Ylitalo, who has won several online titles as well as nearly $1.8 million in live tournament earnings. That includes $909,574 for winning the EPT10 London.

The other was Germany’s “KellerA,” who back in January topped a field of 261 players to win the Super XL Series Event #48: $40,000 Octopus for $15,67.

In the end, Ylitalo bested “KellerA” to take home the title and $6,417.75 top prize while “KellerA” had to settle for a $4,626.75 consolation prize.

Russia’s “rrradiovolna” Show Them All

One of the more interesting tournaments of the day was Event #118 $10,000 ShowMe!, which attracted 248 players and created a $12,400 prize pool. After six hours and 12 minutes, Russia’s “rrradiovolna” finished as the last player standing for $2,535.80.

The win came just a day after “rrradiovolna” finished third out of 272 players in Event #102 $30,000 Sunday Tornado, the same tournament won by former November Niner Jake Balsiger. “rrradiovolna” earned $3,909 in that event.

Meanwhile, the UK’s “3thereal” earned his second runner-up finish in four days. He previously finished second in Event #73 $30,000 Knockout for $4,437.

Day9 XL Inferno Champions

Day 9 of the XL Inferno crowned 163more winners, each of who locked up a seat into the XL Champion of Champions tournament. Thus far, 118 seats have been awarded for that event which will see three lucky winners receive packages to the 2017 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Day#10 – $5,200 High Roller to Bring Out the Pros

Day 10 of the XL Inferno Championships features 11 more events ranging in buy-ins from $30 up to $5,200. That’s because tomorrow the highly anticipated $5,200 buy-in Event #!26 $400,000 Super High Roller Chip-In gets underway at 18:00.

What does the “Chip-In” mean? Simply put, all fees collected from the tournament will go to REG’s (Raising for Effective Giving) Global Poverty Charity Portfolio.

Among those already register for the event are Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche and “Juanfran1973,” who both won a seat in last night’s $1,050 High Roller satellite. Joining them will be Fabrizio “DrMiKee” González, “carbondating,” and “MalakiasCF,” just to name a few.

Also taking place on Tuesday are the $215 buy-in Event #127 $100,000 Mini Chip-In at 18:00. That tournament will also see all fees donated to REG. The same can be said of Event #130 $10,000 Turbo Chip-In, which costs $55 to enter and will kick off at 20:00.
