Don’t look now, but we at 888poker are building quite the team. Our list of ambassadors – which includes Dominik Nitsche, just to name a few – not only represent our brand both live and online, many bring a bit more to the table. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Natalie Hof as the latest 888poker Ambassador.

“I'm very thrilled to be part of the 888poker team,” said Hof who will play under the username 888NatalieH. “With such talented pros and a variety of poker games, it's quite an honour to have the opportunity to play as an 888poker ambassador for a game I love so. I'm very motivated to improve my game and travel a lot playing with amazing teammates. I love that I can join a team with such established pros and hope to learn a lot from them to improve my own game.”

Poker Chops Meets TV Personality

Like fellow 888poker Ambassadors Kara Scott, Hof is both a well-known poker TV presenter and an accomplished player. Because of her poker prowess at the tables and captivating personality in front of the camera, we approached Hof during the 2016 World Series of Poker and were thrilled to bring her on board.

“I didn't make money in Las Vegas, but felt happy in the end,” Hof said with a laugh. “I can't wait to play my first event in October at the 888Live Poker Festival London. That will run from October 13-23, and I am very much looking forward to competing with everybody as an 888 Ambassador.”

In the live poker realm, Hof’s biggest score came in Season 9 of the European Poker Tour Berlin Main Event when she finished 39th for €18,000. She also finished runner-up in Season 3 of the Eureka Poker Tour Rozvadov Mini Event for €12,059, placed 135th in the EPT6 Barcelona Main Event for €11,500, and won the EPT10 Vienna Women’s Event for €5,325.

While her results are solid, they’re not Hof’s favourite part of the poker world.

“Besides results I’m very happy to travel the world as a poker player meeting a bunch of nice and wonderful people,” explained Hof, who currently resides in Cologne, Germany. “I'm proud of my EPT Ladies Event title, which I took down two years ago in Vienna while living there. It wasn't a big amount of money, but it felt great, and it was a lot of fun playing with amazing women. We need more of them.”

Being Part of Team888

Hof will continue to play at live events, but she’ll also be playing on 888poker where she plans to stream on Twitch.

“I like the variety of poker games on 888poker,” said Hof, who will also be going back to university next month to get her Masters in Educational Science. “You can play very low and quiet high stakes for both cash games and tournaments. So everyone will find the perfect game for their bankroll.”

When she’s not playing poker, Hof can be found video blogging about her life and work. You can follow Hof on Twitter @HofNatalie and watch her on her new YouTube Channel.
