Explanation of Cash Game

Players buy-in for the amount of chips they prefer, although there are sometimes limits on the minimum and maximum buy-in amounts. Players are free to leave the game at any time and exchange their chips for the cash equivalent.

How to Use Cash Game as Part of Your Poker Strategy

Cash game strategy is different from tournament strategy. Tournament players need to make use of ICM (independent chip model) in calculating the expectation of various decisions.
